Our team is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our pre-seed funding round. With this funding, we plan to accelerate the buildout and deployment of our AI coworkers for healthcare collections, automating manual processes for healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) teams and ensuring that providers are paid quickly and seamlessly for the care they provide.

The pre-seed round was led by Neo, a leading VC firm and startup accelerator, with participation from Nebular VC and strategic healthcare angels. Our investors bring decades of experience, having backed leading AI, fintech, and healthtech companies like Ramp, Scale AI, Orum, and Anterior. Their support will help us grow our team, accelerate product development, and expand our sales efforts.

Amperos was founded based on our own team’s experiences with the burdens of healthcare billing. We experienced firsthand the uncertainty of insurance coverage as patients and saw how unpaid claims can prevent clinics from thriving financially, all because of a system that’s reliant on legacy systems and processes.

Our first AI coworker, Amanda, calls insurance companies on behalf of clinics to follow up on outstanding and denied claims. Amanda can navigate phone systems, sit on hold, get transferred, and handle dozens of claim status cases, offering full end-to-end call automation. With over 90% accuracy, Amanda can reduce the time clinics spend on calls by 80%, enabling collections teams to cover 3-5 times more claims per day.

While we are thrilled that Amanda is already calling on behalf of hundreds of clinics, this is just the beginning of our journey. Our vision is to create a team of AI coworkers that supercharge healthcare claim collections teams, fully automate manual tasks, lower collection costs, and increase revenue. In turn, this will empower healthcare providers to more easily grow their practices, pay their staff, and serve more patients.
